Solid que. Good smoke, not drowned in sauce, big ass sandwich. The pork is long pulled like i like it and not chopped into oblivion. Sauce is Lexington style with a slight kick.
Fried okra and hush puppies were excellent but the fries, while hand cut, were well undercooked.
This is well worth the stop and is only about 5 mins off I 40 between Raleigh and Durham in Morrisville, NC.
Turkey, avocado, bacon, swiss, spinach, toasted almond mayo on sourdough from Stack’s Coastal Kitchen. One of my favorite sandwiches in the lowcountry. The almond mayo and great bread makes it.
Lunch today at Two Boroughs Larder. Cool spot, will need to come back for dinner.
Chicken skin fried rice with a farm egg and 48 hour short rib. Wow.
Lunch today at Ted’s Butcherblock. BLT with the bacon of the month on ciabatta with garlic herb mayo and a side of gouda mac and cheese. A go-to standard.
